Computing is the new horsepower

Automotive computing power is replacing horsepower, according to Audi boss Markus Duesmann, and I couldn't agree more!

As engine power, handling, and "premium" feel are becoming more cost-efficient and common, luxury brands must differentiate themselves using advanced tech.

This is especially vital with electric cars, which have instant available acceleration power and superior handling due to low centre of gravity.

Premium vehicles of tomorrow will have the highest computing capability for advanced software as well as some sort of autonomous capability - exactly the reason why Tesla has seen extraordinary gains.

Great reason to love automotive space - innovation never stops and established brands see a need to be more fluid!
